#1) Walking by a burrito stand, I noticed a grown man dressed as a pirate eating outside. You can barely see him in the photo. I did not want to get any closer because, well, pirates are ornery.
#2) A kid was walking home from school with a small potted plant in what must have been some sort of science fair project. She didn't know I was walking right behind her, because she was whispering over and over "You're going to grow up big and strong. You're going to grow up big and strong." I'm not sure if she was speaking to the plant or to herself.

I was walking down my street and I noticed a house with a ton of junk out in the lawn. Amongst piles of old grills, trash cans, and laundry was a framed print of the last supper.
I thought this would make an excellent photo so I looked around for signs of life, and snuck into the driveway to catch a shot. As I was lining it up, I heard this voice say "Hey!"
It was the owner of the house. I was busted. I was ready to get yelled out. Then, he said something I didn't expect. He said "Bird!"
Bird? What the hell? He laughed and said "Bird" again, pointing to a tree. He was a mexican guy who obviously didn't speak much english. "Bird! Baby!"
I looked at the tree. Indeed, there was a bright green parakeet perched in the branches. The guy thought the reason I was sneaking around with a camera was to take pictures of the bird. He motioned for me to take the photo, so I did.
"What's his name?" I asked, and he replied "Baby!" laughing. I laughed, too, although i'm not sure why. "Bird!" he said again, and I said "Yes! Bird! Nice bird!" and laughed with him. It felt good.

Hey peoples, sorry I haven't updated in a while, but between the late night crime fighting, the wild parties at the Playboy Mansion, and my constant struggle against for the forces of evil, I haven't had a lot of time to post things.
Okay, truth be told, I finally got a Netflix subscription and spend most of my time watching documentaries. But I'll be back and posting soon.
