Another year, another ridiculous outfit. Over the weekend I celebrated my birthday, and thanks to the generosity of my friends and family, I received the following:

• A set of glasses, custom etched with the words "Opus", "Pope of Dopeness" and "Sex God". Which, of course, all describe me.
• Another set of glasses, small sherry glasses, that feature pirates on them.
• The Talking Heads Brick Box Set
• The American Idol version of Mad Libs
• A bubble wand
• A T-shirt reading "Always a Lady" featuring a bright pink rose
• A necktie
• A mix CD
• A paint-by-numbers picture of kittens
• A 2006 Tractors Calendar
• Two bottles of "Villa Moreschi" wine
• A robot named "Robosapien"
• Many, many drinks.
