My friend Kevin McShane has created what we in the comic book industry like to call a "comic book". It's about an aspiring actor who comes to Hollywood to break into the world of comic books - the first issue has him auditioning to play a bit part in an issue of Superman. If you're the sort of person who likes to watch "reality" television, have I got some reality for you! There's a television program that captures all the fun of waiting for a plane and puts in on for you to enjoy! Plus, there's some serious taxi-haggling involved!
But the real reason to watch: My friend BJ (pictured, drunk) is one of the contestant. Because he's got long hair and a beard, he's dubbed a "hippie" (I prefer "Jesus-esque"). So far he's doing quite well, and kicking some serious asses in an quirky, laid-back way.
Tune in on Tuesday Nights on CBS! Or read a book, whatever, I don't care.
